Serve sparingly with rice, dal, idli or dosa for an intense chilli kick.
Swaadrani pickles can generally last more than a year when stored and handled properly. Store in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight, in a tightly closed airtight jar. Always use a clean, dry spoon. For the best taste and freshness, we recommend finishing the jar within one month of opening. Always check the expiry or best-before date printed on the jar when buying and consume within that date.
The heat that settled into every bite.
Red chillies were cleaned and set aside, their colour deep and inviting. Tamarind and garlic were added, bringing a slight tang and depth to the mix. Oil held everything together, allowing the flavours to come through slowly. It was not just about heat.
It had a richness that stayed with the food, not above it. With a simple meal, it blended in yet left its mark.
Some flavours don’t rush, they slowly become a part of you.
